I just finished another page for my friend's baby book, and it came out great!  I am loving the blues and greens, but I had some problems trying to put different colors together.  I wanted to share some of the techniques I ended up using to bring it all together

After liberating my rubber stamps from their bulky wood mounts, I kept walking past my box of wood blocks, unwilling to toss them for the potential that oozed out of the box, wondering what I could use them for...

In the long, long list of obscure holidays, this one certainly caught my eye.  Not only is today Friday the 13th, it is also "Sewing Machine Day."  There is not a lot about this one on google, but I did find a bit about the history of the sewing machine, here.

For my sister's birthday this year, I decided to make a unique new card!  I have been hoarding some fun blue stripey papers that just call out "tropical!" and a fun set of Stampin' Up! stamps with a sea horse and fun seaweed.  These came together great!
